From Les Deux Alpes, head east on D213 towards Bourg d'Oisans. After approximately 8 kilometers, turn left onto D526 towards Le Bourg-d'Oisans. Continue on D526 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with D902. Turn right onto D902 and follow it for around 30 kilometers. You will climb steadily towards Col du Galibier. The road is well-marked, and you will see signs for Col du Galibier as you approach. There is no toll for this route, but be prepared for some winding mountain roads. The total journey should take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

To reach Col du Galibier via public transport from Les Deux Alpes, first take the local bus (Line 3000) from Les Deux Alpes to Bourg d'Oisans. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. From Bourg d'Oisans, you will need to transfer to a regional bus (Line 1) that heads towards Briançon. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Col du Galibier, as this stop is not always announced. The total travel time can take approximately 2 hours, and you should check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary depending on the season. Ticket prices for the bus from Les Deux Alpes to Bourg d'Oisans are around €3, and the fare from Bourg d'Oisans to Col du Galibier is approximately €5.
