If you are starting from Lille Europe train station, head southwest on Rue de Tournai towards Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk for another 400 meters until you see the entrance to the Botanical Garden on your right at 306 Rue du Jardin des Plantes.

From Gare Lille Flandres station, take Tram Line 1 (Direction 4 Cantons) from the station. Get off at the 'Rihour' stop after three stops. Transfer to Tram Line 2 (Direction Cité Scientifique) at Rihour and ride for two stops. Get off at 'Lille Grand Palais'. From there, it's a 15-minute walk: exit the tram stop, head towards Rue de la Treille and follow it until you reach Rue du Jardin des Plantes.
