Walking
If you are starting from Lille's central train station (Gare Lille Flandres), exit the station and head towards Rue de Paris. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Place du Général de Gaulle. Turn left onto Place du Général de Gaulle, and you will see La Grande Roue de Lille right in front of you. The walk should take about 15 minutes.
Public Transport - Metro
From Lille's central train station (Gare Lille Flandres), walk to the nearby metro station 'Lille Flandres'. Take Line 1 towards '4 Cantons - Stade Pierre-Mauroy'. Get off at 'Rihour' station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie and walk straight to Place du Général de Gaulle. La Grande Roue de Lille will be visible as you approach the square. The total journey should take around 20 minutes.
Public Transport - Tram
If you are near the 'Lille Europe' train station, find the tram stop 'Lille Europe'. Take Tram Line T2 towards 'Saint-Philibert'. Get off at the 'Gare Lille Flandres' stop. From there, follow the walking directions provided above from Gare Lille Flandres to La Grande Roue de Lille. The total travel time will be approximately 25 minutes.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations throughout Lille. Head towards Place du Général de Gaulle by following the bike lanes from any central location. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your starting point.
