Continue on D9 for about 5 km until you see signs for Chateau de Châlucet. Follow these signs to the castle which is located at Lieu Dit, Tours de Chalusset, 87260 Saint-Jean-Ligoure. Parking is available near the site, usually free of charge.

To reach Chateau de Châlucet by public transportation, take a train from Limoges to La Souterraine. From La Souterraine, take a local bus toward Saint-Jean-Ligoure. Check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Saint-Jean-Ligoure, it's about a 20-minute walk to the castle. Head east on Rue de la Gare, then follow the signs leading you to Lieu Dit, Tours de Chalusset. Make sure to check the return bus times for your trip back.

For those who enjoy cycling, it is possible to bike to Chateau de Châlucet from Limoges. Take the D2000 road heading east out of Limoges, then connect to the D9. Upon arrival, there are spots to lock your bike near the entrance.
