    If you are driving from Tours, take the A10 motorway towards Paris. After about 20 km, take exit 18 towards Amboise. Continue on the D31 and follow the signs for Amboise. Once in Amboise, follow Rue de la République and then turn onto Rue du Clos Lucé. The Château du Clos Lucé will be on your left at 2 Rue du Clos Lucé, 37400 Amboise. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a parking fee.

    If you are traveling by train, take a regional train from Tours to Amboise. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Upon arrival at Amboise train station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop. Take the local bus (Line 1) towards Château du Clos Lucé. The bus ride is approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Clos Lucé stop, and the château will be a short walk from there. The bus fare is around €1.50.

  • Bus

    From Tours, you can also take a direct bus service to Amboise. Several buses run daily, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Amboise bus station, you can either walk to Château du Clos Lucé (approximately 15 minutes) or catch a local taxi for a short ride. The taxi fare should be around €10.
