Walking
If you are starting from the Tours city center, make your way to Rue Nationale, which is a major street. Head northeast on Rue Nationale until you reach Place Jean Jaurès. At Place Jean Jaurès, turn left onto Rue des Halles and continue straight. After a few minutes of walking, you will reach Rue des Ursulines. The Enceinte gallo-romaine is located along this street. Look for the historical landmark on your right as you approach.
Public Transport
From the Tours train station (Gare de Tours), take tram line A in the direction of Tours - Grandmont. Get off at the stop 'Jean Jaurès'. From there, walk northeast on Rue Nationale towards Place Jean Jaurès, then turn left onto Rue des Halles. Continue straight until you reach Rue des Ursulines. The Enceinte gallo-romaine will be located on your right.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Loire River. Follow the bicycle paths along the river until you reach the Pont Wilson. Cross the bridge and head straight onto Rue de la Préfecture. Continue until you reach Rue des Ursulines. The Enceinte gallo-romaine will be on your left as you ride along.
