Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Tours. Head southeast on Rue de la République towards Rue des Halles. Continue onto Rue Honoré de Balzac, where you'll find the Châteaux de la Loire at 8 Rue Honoré de Balzac, 37000 Tours. There are parking options available nearby, but be aware that some may incur fees ranging from €1 to €2 per hour.
Public Transportation - Tram
If you prefer public transport, take Tram Line A from Tours city center towards La Fare. Get off at the stop called 'Jean Jaurès'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to 8 Rue Honoré de Balzac. Walk south on Rue de la République, then turn right onto Rue Honoré de Balzac. The trams run frequently, and a ticket costs approximately €1.50.
Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take Bus Line 5 from Tours. Board the bus at the Tours central bus station and travel towards Saint-Pierre-des-Corps. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Gare de Tours' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the châteaux. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as services may vary, and a ticket will cost about €1.50.
