Getting There

• Bus

  From Lourdes, walk to the bus station located at 12 Avenue de la Gare. Catch the bus to 'Cauterets' or 'Luz Saint Sauveur'. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Cauterets or Luz Saint Sauveur, transfer to a bus heading to 'Baños de Panticosa'. This final leg will take approximately 20-30 minutes. You will get off at the stop closest to C. Balneario, 6, where Ibón de los Baños is located. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the lake.

• Train and Bus

  From Lourdes, head to the train station at 12 Avenue de la Gare. Take a train to 'Tarn' or 'Pau' (check local schedules for trains to get to the nearest station). Once you arrive, you will need to take a local bus towards 'Baños de Panticosa'. The bus journey will take around 45 minutes. Get off at the stop at C. Balneario, 6, where Ibón de los Baños is located. The lake is nearby, just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Hiking

  For adventurous travelers, you can hike to Ibón de los Baños from Lourdes. Start from the center of Lourdes and follow the signs towards the mountains. The trail starts at the edge of the town and takes you through scenic routes and natural landscapes. It is essential to have a good map or GPS as the trail can be challenging. The hike can take several hours (approximately 4-6 hours) depending on your pace, so be prepared with adequate supplies and check the weather conditions beforehand.
