Driving
From Murs, head south on the D15 towards Gordes. After approximately 3km, turn left onto a small road signposted 'Gorges de Véroncle'. Follow this road for about 2km until you reach a small parking area at the trailhead. Parking is limited, especially during peak season. An alternative parking location is near the Chapô gallery on the D2 between Gordes and Joucas, from which you can access the trail. Be aware that this parking may be private. From either parking location, follow the marked hiking trails into the gorge.
Public Transport
While there is a bus service (line 109) from Apt to Murs, it requires prior reservation. From the Mairie de Murs (Murs Town Hall) bus stop, it's approximately a 3km walk/taxi ride to the trailhead of the Gorges de Véroncle. Consider booking a taxi in advance from Murs to the trailhead, as availability may be limited. Taxi fare is estimated to be €15-€20. Alternatively, from Gordes, the 9901 bus runs to Carrefour D15/D4, from where you can walk or take a taxi to the trailhead.
Walking
From the center of Murs, follow the D15 south towards Gordes. After approximately 3km, look for a small road on your left signposted 'Gorges de Véroncle'. Follow this road for about 2km to reach the trailhead. The walk from Murs to the trailhead is approximately 5km and takes about 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can hike from Gordes via marked trails, connecting to the Gorges de Véroncle trail system. This hike is longer and more strenuous, requiring appropriate footwear and preparation.
