If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Bonnieux. Head southeast on D900 towards Lacoste. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Château de Lacoste. Turn left onto Chem. du Château, and follow the road until you reach the entrance of the castle. Note that parking is available near the entrance, but there may be a small fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a regional train to the nearest station, which is in Avignon. From Avignon, board a local bus (Line 20) heading towards Bonnieux. Once you arrive in Bonnieux, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to Château de Lacoste, which is about 5 kilometers away. The bus fare from Avignon to Bonnieux is approximately €5, and a taxi ride might cost around €15-€20.
Walking
If you are already in Lacoste and prefer to walk, you can reach Château de Lacoste by taking a scenic route. From the center of Lacoste, head east on Rue de l'Église, then follow the signs leading to Chem. du Château. The walk is about 1 kilometer and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
