Metro
If you're in central Lyon, head to the nearest metro station, either Bellecour or Part-Dieu. Take Metro Line D towards Gare de Vaise. After 5 stops, get off at the Monplaisir-Lumière station. Once you exit the station, take a left onto Avenue des Frères Lumière. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach Rue du Premier Film. Turn right, and you will find Musée Lumière at 25 Rue du Premier Film.

If you're near the Place Bellecour, you can also take Tram Line T2 from the Bellecour stop towards Saint Priest - Bel Air. Ride the tram for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Mermoz - Pinel'. From there, walk along Avenue des Frères Lumière heading north for approximately 900 meters. Turn left onto Rue du Premier Film, and the museum will be on your right at number 25.

For those near the Part-Dieu railway station, take Bus Line 29 towards 'Gare de Vénissieux'. Get off at the stop named 'Laennec - Lumière'. From there, walk along Rue de l'Université towards Avenue des Frères Lumière. When you reach Avenue des Frères Lumière, turn left and walk for about 300 meters. Turn right onto Rue du Premier Film, and you will see Musée Lumière at 25 Rue du Premier Film.

If you're already close by, such as in the Montplaisir neighborhood, you can simply walk to Musée Lumière. Head towards Avenue des Frères Lumière, which is a main road. Walk along this avenue heading south. When you reach Rue du Premier Film, turn left, and the museum will be located at number 25. It's a pleasant walk and will take you around 10-15 minutes.
