Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Marseille and head towards the Calanques National Park. Follow the signs for 'Calanques' and take the D559 road towards Cassis. Continue on this road until you reach the parking area near the Calanque de Sugiton. There is a parking fee of about €5-€10 for the day, depending on the season. From the parking area, you will hike towards Calanque de Flancadou, which is approximately a 1.5-hour hike. Follow the marked trails and enjoy the stunning views along the way. The path can get steep, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
Public Transportation
To reach Calanque de Flancadou using public transport, take the Metro Line 2 to 'Sainte-Marguerite Dromel' station. From there, transfer to bus line 21 towards 'Les Baumettes'. Get off at 'Les Baumettes' stop. Then, follow the signs to the Calanques National Park entrance. The entrance to the park is about a 20-minute walk. It is advisable to check the bus schedule ahead of time as the frequency may vary. Once you reach the park entrance, you'll need to hike for about 1.5 hours to reach Calanque de Flancadou. Make sure to bring water and snacks for the hike.
