Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Jetée des Catalans from anywhere in the Marseille Calanques area, head towards the city center. Use the A55 highway and follow the signs for 'Marseille Centre'. Take the exit towards 'Vieux Port' and continue along the waterfront. As you approach the area, look for signs indicating 'Plage des Catalans'. There is limited parking available near the Jetée des Catalans, so be prepared to find a space in the nearby streets and walk a short distance. Depending on the time of day, parking may cost around €1 to €2 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Jetée des Catalans using public transportation, start by locating the nearest metro station. If you're in the city center, take Line 1 (the blue line) towards 'La Fourragère' and get off at 'Vieux Port'. From there, transfer to the bus line 83 towards 'Plage des Catalans'. This bus will take you directly to the beach area. The bus fare is approximately €1.70. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you can walk towards the waterfront to reach Jetée des Catalans.

• Walking

  If you are nearby and prefer to walk, Jetée des Catalans is accessible on foot. From the Vieux Port area, head towards the beach and follow the promenade along the waterfront. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes and is a pleasant stroll with beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Look for signs directing you to 'Plage des Catalans', and you will find Jetée des Catalans at the end of the promenade.
