Car
If you are driving from the center of Marseille, take the A50 motorway towards Toulon. After approximately 5 km, take the exit for A55 towards Martigues. Continue on A55 for about 8 km, then take the exit 1 towards Marseille-Centre. Follow the signs for Boulevard de la Libération, and continue straight. Once you reach Rue de Mazargues, turn right. Continue straight until you reach Rdpt de Mazargues, where the Obélisque de Mazargues is located. There is street parking available nearby, but it may incur a cost depending on the time of day.
Public Transportation
Start at the Marseille Saint-Charles train station. Take Metro Line 1 (the blue line) towards La Fourragère. Travel for 4 stops and get off at the 'Castellane' station. From there, transfer to Bus Line 21 towards 'Mazargues'. This bus will take you directly to Rdpt de Mazargues. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes in total. Make sure to purchase a ticket before boarding the bus, which costs about €1.70. The Obélisque de Mazargues is a short walk from the bus stop.
