Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are starting in central Marseille, make your way to the Marseille Saint-Charles train station. From there, take a train towards Cassis. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cassis station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. From the center, head towards the port and follow the signs to Plage de l'Arène. It is about a 20-minute walk from the port, along the coast, with beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea.

• Bus

  From Marseille, you can also take Bus Line 21 from the city center to Cassis. The bus departs from the 'Gare Routière' (Bus Station). Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as buses may not run frequently. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cassis, you will need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes towards Plage de l’Arène. Follow the signs to the beach, which will lead you along the beautiful coastline.

• Walking

  If you are already in Cassis, the beach is easily accessible by foot. From the center of Cassis, head towards the port area, and then follow the coastal path that leads to Plage de l’Arène. The walk is scenic and takes about 20 minutes. You can enjoy the views of the Calanques National Park along the way.
