Walking
If you are already in Le Panier, the easiest way to reach the Statue de Pytheas et Euthymenes is by walking. Start at the heart of Le Panier, at the Place de Lenche. From there, head southeast on Rue de la République until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Guirlande. Turn left onto Rue de la Guirlande and continue walking for about 300 meters. The statue is located at number 2 Rue de la Guirlande, just ahead on your right. The walk should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
While walking is the most straightforward option, you can also use the public bus service if you prefer. From Le Panier, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'République - Saint-Charles' (about a 10-minute walk). Take bus line 49 towards 'La Joliette' and get off at the stop 'Jules Cantini'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the statue. Head back to Rue de la Guirlande, and the statue will be located at number 2 Rue de la Guirlande. Please note that a single bus ticket costs approximately €1.70.
