Getting There

    If you're starting from the historic center of Montpellier (Place de la Comédie), head south on Rue de la Loge towards Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Chapelle. Turn left onto Rue de la Chapelle. After a short walk, you'll arrive at Place de la Canourgue. From there, walk towards Rue de l'Université and take a right. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Université. Cross the avenue and continue straight onto Rue de la Méditerranée. After a few minutes, you'll see Bassin Jacques Cœur on your left, a lovely park area with a scenic pond.

  • Tram

    From Place de la Comédie, take Tram Line 1 (the yellow line) in the direction of Odysseum. Get off at the 'Rives du Lez' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head northwest on Avenue de l'Occitanie towards Rue des Pénitents. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la Méditerranée, then turn right. Bassin Jacques Cœur will be on your left side.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at one of the bike-sharing stations near Place de la Comédie. Head south on Rue de la Loge, then take a left on Rue de la Chapelle.
