Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, head towards Place de la Comédie. From the square, take Rue de la Loge and walk straight until you reach Rue de l'Université. Turn left onto Rue de l'Université and continue walking until you reach Boulevard Henri IV. The Jardin des Plantes will be on your right at the end of the boulevard.

  • Tram

    From the city center, find the nearest tram stop for Line 1 (the green line) at Place de la Comédie. Board the tram and travel towards 'Odysseum' and get off at the stop 'Saint-Charles.' Transfer to Line 2 (the blue line) in the direction of 'Jacou.' After two stops, get off at 'Rives du Lez.' From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head south on Rue de l'Université to Boulevard Henri IV, where you will find the Jardin des Plantes.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the numerous bike-sharing stations around the city.
