Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Comédie, head towards the Place de la Comédie square. Walk straight towards the fountain in the middle of the square. As you reach the fountain, exit the square on the side opposite the Opéra Comédie, and take the Rue de la Loge. Continue walking straight until you reach the Rue de l'Université. Turn right onto Rue de l'Université. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach Place Pétrarque, where Musée du Vieux Montpellier is located at 2 Pl. Pétrarque.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    From Comédie, you can take the tram line 1 (the yellow line) in the direction of 'Odysseum'. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Antigone', and then transfer to line 3 (the blue line) in the direction of 'Juvignac'. Get off at the 'Pérols - Étang de l'Or' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk: head back to the main road, turn left, and walk straight until you reach Place Pétrarque. The museum will be on your left.
