Walking
If you are starting from the Nancy train station (Gare de Nancy), exit the station and head northeast on Rue de la Gare toward Rue de la République. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Place de la République. From there, take the first left onto Rue de la Commanderie, then continue onto Rue Saint-Dizier. After about 300 meters, you will reach Place Carnot, which is on your left.

If you're near the Place Stanislas, walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Place Stanislas'. Take Tram line 1 towards 'Vandoeuvre CHU - Brabois'. After one stop, get off at 'Musée des Beaux-Arts'. From there, walk straight down Rue des Maréchaux, which will lead you directly to Place Carnot in about 10 minutes.

From the city center at Place Stanislas, walk south along Rue de la Liberté. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach Place Carnot. The square is easily recognizable with its central fountain and surrounded by trees.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are at the central bus station (Gare Routière de Nancy), take bus line 2 towards 'Essey - Le Haut'. Get off at the 'Place Carnot' stop. The square is right in front of you as you exit the bus.
