Walking
If you are at the Nantes Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul), head east on Rue de la Barillerie toward Rue de la Fosse. Turn left onto Rue de la Fosse, and continue straight until you reach the Place du Général Sarrail, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the cathedral.
Public Transport
From Nantes train station (Gare de Nantes), take Tram Line 1 (the yellow line) in the direction of François Mitterrand. Get off at the stop named 'Mairie de Nantes'. From there, transfer to Tram Line 2 (the green line) towards Orvault. Alight at the 'Place du Général Sarrail' stop. The entire journey should take around 30 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start from the Place Royale and head southwest on Rue de la Fosse. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will arrive at Place du Général Sarrail. It's a pleasant ride with bike lanes available along the route.
