If you are starting from the Nantes Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul), head southwest on Rue de la Barillerie. Continue straight until you reach Place du Commerce. From there, take Rue de la Fosse heading north. Follow this street until you reach Rue de la Marne. Turn right on Rue de la Marne and continue until you arrive at Place Royale, located at 5 Pl. Félix Fournier.

Board Tram Line 1 at the 'Commerce' stop in Nantes. Ride the tram in the direction of 'François Mitterrand' and get off at the 'Place Royale' stop. You will find yourself just steps away from the square.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations. Start at the 'Île de Nantes' area and cycle towards the city center. Follow the bike lanes along Quai de la Fosse, then turn right onto Rue de la Marne, which will lead you directly to Place Royale. There are bike racks available near the square.
