Walking
From the center of Bouffay, head towards Rue de la Fosse. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Petite Hollande. Turn left onto Rue de la Petite Hollande. Follow this road until you reach the Place du Commerce. At Place du Commerce, you will find signage directing you towards the Château des Ducs de Bretagne. Continue on this path, and you will soon arrive at Douves du Château, which is located right next to the castle itself.
Public Transport (Tram)
If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest tram station in Bouffay, which is 'Commerce'. Take Tram Line 1 towards 'François Mitterrand'. Get off at the next stop, 'Ducs de Bretagne'. From there, it's a short walk. Exit the tram station and head towards the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, which will lead you directly to the Douves du Château. Note that a single tram ticket costs approximately €1.60.
