From Nice, head to Nice Ville train station. You can get there by taking tram line 1 (Direction: Henri Sappia) to the 'Gare Thiers' stop, then walk to the train station. Purchase a ticket to Sanremo at the ticket counter or machine. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride along the coast. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Upon arriving at Sanremo station, exit the station and look for the bus stop near the station entrance.

After arriving at Sanremo train station, catch the bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Bussana' from the bus stop close to the station. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Bussana' stop. From there, you will see signs directing you to Bussana Vecchia, which is a short walk (about 10 minutes uphill). Follow the main road, and look for the charming old village as you approach.

If you prefer walking, you can start from the Sanremo train station. Head southwest on Via Martiri della Libertà and continue straight until you reach the coast. From there, follow the coastline until you arrive at a path leading up to Bussana Vecchia. It will take roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes.
