If you are starting from the Promenade des Anglais, walk inland toward the city center. Head toward Avenue de Verdun, passing by the famous Negresco Hotel. Once you reach Avenue de Verdun, turn right and continue straight until you reach Place Massena. From Place Massena, head towards Avenue Jean Médecin and take the tram (Line 1) towards 'Hôpital Pasteur'. Get off at the 'Garibaldi' stop. From there, walk along Rue Cassini until you reach the entrance of Parc d'Estienne d'Orves.
