Getting There

  • Train

    From Nice Ville train station, purchase a ticket for Monaco. The trains to Monaco run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Board a train heading towards Ventimiglia. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Monaco-Monte Carlo station, exit the train and follow the signs to the exit. You will be in the heart of Monaco.

  • Bus

    From Nice, you can take the Ligne d'Azur bus number 100 from the Nice Riquier stop or Nice Gare Routière. The bus runs every 30 minutes and takes around 45 minutes to reach Monaco. Get off at the stop 'Monaco - Place d'Armes'. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Prince's Palace. Head uphill towards the Palace; follow the signs or the crowd to reach your destination.

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Nice, you can walk to the Nice Ville train station. Once there, follow the previous Train guidance to reach Monaco. Alternatively, if you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route along the coast, although this will take significantly longer (around 2 hours). You can follow the Promenade des Anglais towards the Port and continue along the coastal path towards Monaco.
