Walking
If you are already in the Cimiez area, start by heading towards the Monastère de Cimiez, a well-known landmark. From the Monastery, take Avenue des Arènes de Cimiez heading south. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will reach the intersection with Rue de France. Turn left onto Rue de France and walk for another 300 meters. Citerne will be on your right, marked by its historical significance.
Public Transport - Bus
For those not wanting to walk, you can take bus number 15 from 'Cimiez - Monastère' stop. Board the bus and travel for two stops, getting off at 'Cimiez - Citerne'. The journey should take around 5 minutes. After getting off, Citerne will be within a short walking distance. The bus fare is €1.50, and you can purchase a ticket on the bus.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations in Cimiez. After renting a bike, head towards Avenue des Arènes de Cimiez. Cycle down this road for approximately 1 km, and you will arrive at Citerne. Make sure to follow the bike lanes for safety. Rental costs usually start at around €10 for a few hours.
