If you are starting from the Promenade des Anglais, walk inland toward the city center. Continue straight until you reach Avenue de Verdun. Turn left onto Avenue de Verdun and walk until you reach Place Massena. From Place Massena, head towards Avenue Jean Médecin and continue straight until you reach the tram station at 'Massena'. Take Tram Line 1 in the direction of 'Henri Sappia'. Get off at the stop 'Gare Thiers'. Once you exit the tram, walk along Avenue Thiers until you reach the intersection with Avenue Nicolas II. Turn right onto Avenue Nicolas II, and you will find Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas on your left.

From Nice Ville train station, exit the station and head towards Avenue Thiers. Walk to the tram stop 'Gare Thiers' and board Tram Line 1 towards 'Henri Sappia'. Get off at the next stop, 'Gare Thiers'. After exiting the tram, walk along Avenue Thiers. Continue walking straight until you reach Avenue Nicolas II. Turn right onto Avenue Nicolas II, and Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas will be on your left.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the numerous Vélo Bleu bike stations in Nice. Start from the Promenade des Anglais, and head towards the city center. Follow the bike lanes to Avenue de Verdun, then turn left and continue to Place Massena. From there, head towards Avenue Jean Médecin, and follow the bike lane until you reach the tram station 'Massena'. You can park your bike here and take Tram Line 1 towards 'Henri Sappia'. Get off at 'Gare Thiers', and from there, walk along Avenue Thiers to Avenue Nicolas II. Turn right onto Avenue Nicolas II, and you'll arrive at Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas.
