Walking
If you're in Vieux Nice, start by heading towards the Promenade des Anglais. From the Cours Saleya, walk towards the beach. Once you reach the promenade, turn right. Continue walking until you see the entrance to the Parc de la Colline du Château on your left, just after passing the Quai des États-Unis. It is well-signposted.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch bus number 38 from the stop 'Vieux Nice - Cathédrale.' The bus will take you closer to the Colline du Château. Get off at the stop named 'Colline du Château.' From there, follow the signs towards the entrance of the park. Note that a single bus ticket costs around €1.50.
Funicular
An alternative and enjoyable way to reach Colline du Château is by using the funicular. You can walk to the 'Vieux Nice - Cathédrale' stop and then head to the nearby funicular station, which is signposted. The funicular will take you directly up to the park. A ticket for the funicular costs about €1.50, and it offers a fantastic view of Nice as you ascend.
