Continue walking for another 15 minutes until you reach the city center of Avignon. Place Pie is located just a short walk from the center, on your left as you approach the Palais des Papes.
Bus

From Nîmes city center, head to the bus station located at the 'Gare Routière' near the Nîmes train station. Look for buses heading to Avignon; they are frequent and take about 30 minutes. Purchase your ticket at the counter or from a machine, and board the bus marked for Avignon. Once you arrive at the Avignon bus station, exit and walk towards the city center. Head towards Rue de la République and continue straight until you reach Place Pie.
Train

To travel by train, go to the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), which is well-signposted in the city. Buy a ticket to Avignon from the ticket counter or a ticket machine.
