Walking
From the center of Nîmes, start at the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Exit the station and head north on Avenue Feuchères. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the Place de la République. Here, you'll find the large fountain and the beautiful architecture surrounding the square. From the Place de la République, take Rue de la République heading west, which will lead you to the Nîmes bus station. At the bus station, catch bus line 24 towards Arles. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Arles, disembark at the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, you can easily walk to various attractions in Arles, including the Roman Amphitheater and the picturesque streets of the old town.

Begin your journey at the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Purchase a ticket for a regional train (TER) to Arles from one of the ticket machines or the ticket counter. Trains to Arles depart regularly, and the journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Arles train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. You can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take bus line 1 towards the city center, which will drop you near the main attractions such as the Arles Amphitheater.
