Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), exit the station and head southeast on Avenue Feuchères. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Place de la République. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue du Général De Gaulle. Walk for another 400 meters until you reach the junction with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and continue walking for about 300 meters. You will see Carré d'Art on your left, located at 16 Pl. de la Maison Carrée.

    From the iconic Roman amphitheater (Arènes de Nîmes), exit the amphitheater and head towards Boulevard de la Libération. Walk along the boulevard for about 600 meters until you reach Place de la Maison Carrée. Carré d'Art is directly adjacent to the Maison Carrée, at 16 Pl. de la Maison Carrée.

    If you are at the Jardins de la Fontaine, exit the gardens and head south towards Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk for about 800 meters. You will reach Place de la Maison Carrée, where Carré d'Art is located at 16 Pl. de la Maison Carrée.
