Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), exit the station and head north towards Rue de la République. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Upon reaching the Place de la Comédie, you will see the large fountain known as the Fontaine Pradier. From there, take Rue de l'Horloge, which will lead you to Place aux Herbes. The Musée du Vieux Nîmes is located at the corner of the square. Look for the sign indicating the museum entrance.

From the Nîmes train station, you can take Bus Line 4 towards 'Les Halles'. Board the bus just outside the station. After about 5 minutes, get off at the stop 'Les Halles'. From there, walk towards Place aux Herbes, which is just a short 5-minute walk away. The museum entrance will be on your right as you approach the square.
