Car
If you are driving from Rouen, take the A13 motorway towards Le Havre. After about 60 km, take the exit towards 'Étretat' (D940) and follow the signs to Étretat. Once in the town, follow the D139 road which leads directly to the Falaises d'Étretat. There is a parking area available near the cliffs, which may incur a fee of approximately €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Falaises d'Étretat by public transport, start by taking a train from Rouen to Le Havre. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Le Havre, transfer to a local bus (Line 24) that goes directly to Étretat. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Étretat, you can walk to the cliffs, which are about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking from Étretat
If you find yourself in Étretat, the Falaises d'Étretat are easily accessible by foot. From the town center, head towards the coast and follow the signs to the cliffs. The walk is approximately 1 km and will take about 15-20 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the town and the ocean.
