    Take Line 1 (the yellow line) from any station that serves this line. If you are near the Louvre, board the train at Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station. Travel in the direction of La Défense and get off at Châtelet station. Transfer to Line 4 (the purple line) towards Mairie de Montrouge. After two stops, alight at Strasbourg - Saint-Denis station.
