Metro
If you are near the center of Paris, take Metro Line 2 (the purple line) towards Nation. Get off at the Abbesses station. Once you exit the station, you will be at the Rue des Abbesses. Make sure to take the stairs up, as this station is one of the deepest in Paris. Follow the signs to Rue des Abbesses and you will be in the heart of this charming street.
Bus
You can also take the bus. From the Opera Garnier, take Bus Line 30 towards Gare de l'Est. Get off at the stop called 'Lamarck - Caulaincourt.' From there, walk down the Rue Caulaincourt until you reach Rue des Abbesses. It’s a lovely walk and should take around 10-15 minutes.
Walking
If you are in Montmartre or nearby, simply walk to Rue des Abbesses. From the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, head down the stairs towards the Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, then turn left onto Rue des Abbesses. It is a pleasant walk downhill, filled with beautiful sights along the way.
