If you're farther from Place des Vosges, consider taking the Paris Metro. The nearest metro station is Bastille (Line 1, 5, 8). From there, exit the station and walk northwest towards Rue de la Bastille, then take a left onto Rue de Turenne. Walk straight for about 400 meters, and you'll arrive at Place des Vosges in around 10 minutes. Note that a single metro ticket costs approximately €1.90.
