Walking
If you are already within the Louvre-Tuileries area, the Louvre Museum is just a short walk away. Start by heading towards the Rue de Rivoli, which runs along the northern side of the museum. Follow the Rue de Rivoli until you reach the main entrance, the Pyramid entrance, which is hard to miss. This is around a 5-minute walk from most locations within the district.

If you are a bit farther away, the closest metro station is Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre (Line 1). From any metro station, purchase a ticket (approximately €1.90) and take the metro to this station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Louvre Museum, which will lead you directly to the Pyramid entrance. The entire journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on where you start.

You can also reach the Louvre Museum by taking the bus. Look for bus lines 21, 27, 39, or 95, which all have stops near the museum. You will need to purchase a ticket (approximately €2.00) before boarding. Once you get off at the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre stop, walk towards the main entrance of the museum, which is a short 5-minute walk away.
