• Car

  If you are driving from the heart of Pays Basque, head towards the A63 motorway. From cities like Biarritz or Bayonne, take the A63 towards the direction of Hendaye. Once you approach Hendaye, take exit 1 towards Nivelle/Hendaye. Continue straight on D810 for about 2 km until you reach the Boulevard de la Mer. There are parking facilities available near the beach, but make sure to check for parking fees which typically range from €1 to €2 per hour depending on the season.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach Hendaye by train, find your way to the nearest SNCF train station. For example, if you are in Biarritz, take the local train towards Hendaye. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and trains run frequently. Upon arriving at Hendaye train station, exit and follow the signs towards the beach. It's a 15-minute walk (about 1 km) from the station to Hendaye beach. The train ticket prices vary, usually costing around €5. • Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a bus to Hendaye. Look for the 'Chronoplus' bus service, which connects various towns in the region. From Biarritz, take the bus line L1 towards Hendaye. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes, and you will need to pay a fare of approximately €2.50. Once you arrive at the Hendaye bus station, the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. Simply head down Avenue des Moulins, and you will reach the beach area.
