Travel Guide to Rotonde de la Villette

Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Picardy, take the A1 motorway towards Paris. Follow the signs for Paris and merge onto the A3. Continue on the A3 until you reach the exit for the Boulevard Périphérique (ring road). Take exit 2 towards Porte de la Villette. Continue on Avenue Jean Jaurès until you reach Place de la Bataille de Stalingrad. The Rotonde de la Villette will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of potential parking fees, which can vary depending on the time and day.

• Train

  If traveling by train, head to the nearest train station in Picardy (such as Amiens or Compiègne) and take a train to Paris Gare du Nord. Once you arrive at Gare du Nord, transfer to Metro Line 5 (the orange line) in the direction of Bobigny – Pablo Picasso. Get off at the Stalingrad station. Upon exiting the station, head towards Place de la Bataille de Stalingrad. The Rotonde de la Villette will be right in front of you. A one-way train ticket from Amiens to Paris costs approximately €15-€30 depending on the time of booking.

• Bus

  For those preferring bus travel, take a regional bus from your location in Picardy to Paris. Various companies operate routes to Paris, and the most common drop-off point is at Porte de la Villette. From there, it is a short walk to Place de la Bataille de Stalingrad. Check the bus schedule and costs in advance, as they can vary, but expect to pay around €10-€20 for a one-way ticket.

• Metro

  If you are already in Paris, you can easily reach Rotonde de la Villette using the Paris Metro. Take Line 2 (the blue line) to the Barbès - Rochechouart station, then transfer to Line 5 (the orange line) towards Bobigny – Pablo Picasso. Get off at the Stalingrad station. Upon exiting the station, head to Place de la Bataille de Stalingrad, where the Rotonde de la Villette is located. A single Metro ticket costs around €1.90.
