Public Transport
From Bagnères-de-Bigorre, a shuttle bus service operates to La Mongie (Téléphérique du Pic du Midi). Advance booking is essential, call 0 805 608 100 (at least the day before by 4 PM, Monday to Friday). The bus will drop you off near the Téléphérique departure point in La Mongie. From there, it's a short walk to the ticket office and boarding area. Bus fare is approximately €5. Check local bus schedules in advance, as services may vary.

Driving
From Bagnères-de-Bigorre, follow the D918 road to La Mongie. The drive takes approximately 40 minutes. Free parking is available near the Téléphérique departure point. During winter (November 1 to March 31), winter equipment is mandatory for all vehicles. Be aware that the Col du Tourmalet may be closed in winter, requiring an alternative route via Sainte-Marie-de-Campan. Parking is free.

Téléphérique
The final ascent to the summit is via the Téléphérique du Pic du Midi from La Mongie. Purchase a round-trip ticket, which includes access to the summit's attractions. In 2025, the adult ticket price is €53, and a child ticket is €42. The téléphérique departs every 15 minutes. The journey is in two sections, with a change at the Taoulet mid-station. The total journey time is approximately 15 minutes.
