From the heart of Cernay Jamin, start by heading south on Rue de Cernay towards Avenue de Laon. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de Laon. Turn left onto Avenue de Laon and walk for approximately 700 meters. As you walk, you will pass by several local shops and cafes, which can be a good opportunity to grab a snack. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Boulevard du Général Leclerc. Continue walking straight until you see the memorial on your right, at 2 Pl. de la République. The entire walk should take around 20-25 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
From Cernay Jamin, walk to the nearest bus stop at Rue de Cernay. Board bus line 5 towards 'Bétheny - Pôle d'Echanges'. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Place de la République', which is right in front of the Memorial. Be sure to check the bus schedule beforehand as buses may run every 15-30 minutes depending on the time of day. A single ticket costs approximately €1.60.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the area, consider renting a bicycle. From Cernay Jamin, head to Rue de Cernay and turn onto Avenue de Laon. Continue cycling straight on this route for about 700 meters until you reach Boulevard du Général Leclerc. Turn right onto Boulevard du Général Leclerc, and you will reach the Memorial after a short ride of approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
