Getting There

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the city center of Rennes, head to the bus stop 'Gare Routière' which is near the main train station. Take the bus number 10 towards 'Châtillon-sur-Seiche'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Écomusée'. Once you get off the bus, walk about 5 minutes along Route de Châtillon-sur-Seiche, and you will see the Écomusée du pays de Rennes on your left.

    If you are close to the city center, you can also walk to Écomusée du pays de Rennes. Start from Place de la République and head southeast on Rue de la Monnaie. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la Visitation, turn right and follow it until you reach Boulevard de la Liberté. Turn left onto Boulevard de la Liberté, then take a right onto Rue de Châtillon. Continue straight until you reach the Écomusée on your right. This walk is approximately 45 minutes.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services. Start from the city center and head towards Rue de la Monnaie. Continue to Boulevard de la Liberté and take the bike path until you reach Route de Châtillon-sur-Seiche. Follow this road for about 3 km, and you will arrive at Écomusée du pays de Rennes.
