Getting There

  • Car

    From Les Deux Alpes, head southeast on the D211 road towards the town of Allemont. Continue for about 9 kilometers until you reach the roundabout near Allemont. Take the second exit onto D526 towards Huez. After approximately 6 kilometers, turn right onto Rte des Lacs. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Lac Rond. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee during peak season.

  • Public Transportation

    From Les Deux Alpes, take the local bus (Line 1) towards Allemont. The bus departs from the main bus station in Les Deux Alpes. After about a 30-minute ride, disembark at the Allemont stop. From there, transfer to the bus heading to Huez (make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary). Once you reach Huez, walk towards Rte des Lacs, and follow the road for about 3 kilometers until you arrive at Lac Rond. Note that bus tickets cost approximately 2-4 euros depending on the distance.
