Car
If driving from Grenoble, take the A48 motorway towards Lyon. Continue for about 20 km and take exit 8 towards La Mure. Follow the signs for D35 towards Rovon. Continue on D35 for approximately 15 km until you reach Tunnel des Ecouges, which is located at D35, 38470 Rovon. There is parking available at Pont Chabert car park.
Public Transport
To reach Tunnel des Ecouges by public transport, start by taking a train from Grenoble to the nearest train station in La Mure. This typically requires a change of trains, and the journey can take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. From La Mure, take a local bus towards Rovon. Check the local bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. The bus will drop you off close to the D35 road, from which Tunnel des Ecouges is a short walk away. Bus fare is approximately €2-€5.
Walking
If you are already in Rovon or nearby, walking to Tunnel des Ecouges is a pleasant option. From the center of Rovon, head towards D35 and follow the road for about 2 km. The tunnel will be on your right side. Wear comfortable footwear and bring water, especially during warmer months.
