    If you're starting from Strasbourg's city center, head towards Place Kléber, which is a central square. From there, proceed south on Rue des Grandes Arcades, walking past shops and cafés. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Mésange. Turn right onto Rue de la Mésange, and you will soon see the signs for Grande-Île. Follow the signs through the charming streets, and you will eventually arrive at 24 Rue Thomann, which is located within the Grande-Île area.

    From the central tram stop at Place Kléber, you can take tram line A (direction Illkirch Lixenbuhl) or tram line D (direction Meinau). Get off at the 'Homme de Fer' stop, which is a major interchange. From there, exit the tram station and walk towards Rue du 22 Novembre. Head east on Rue du 22 Novembre until you reach Rue de la Mésange. Turn left on Rue de la Mésange and follow it until you see signs leading to Grande-Île. You will reach 24 Rue Thomann shortly after.

Follow the street signs that indicate the direction to Grande-Île, and you will arrive at 24 Rue Thomann, the heart of the historical district.
