If you are in the city center of Strasbourg, start at the Place Kléber, the main square. From there, head southeast towards Rue des Grandes Arcades. Continue along this street until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Outre. Turn left onto Rue de l'Outre and proceed until you reach the Place de la Cathédrale. Here, you can admire the stunning Strasbourg Cathedral. From the cathedral, walk towards Rue du Palais and then take a right onto Quai de la Bruche. Follow this road along the river until you reach Quai Turckheim. The Tour du Bourreau is located at 4 Quai Turckheim, right by the water.

From the Strasbourg train station (Gare de Strasbourg), take tram line A (the red line) in the direction of 'Illkirch Lixenbuhl'. Get off at the 'Langstross Grand' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead towards the Rue des Grandes Arcades. Continue on Rue des Grandes Arcades until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Outre, then turn left. Follow Rue de l'Outre to Place de la Cathédrale and proceed as described for the walking route above from the cathedral to Quai Turckheim.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations throughout the city. Start at Place Kléber and head towards the river along Rue de la Mésange. Once you reach the riverbank, follow the bike path along the Ill River heading south. Continue cycling until you reach Quai Turckheim.
