Walking
If you are starting from the Tours train station (Gare de Tours), exit the station and head southwest on Rue Édouard Vaillant. Continue straight until you reach Place des Halles. From there, take Rue de la Préfecture to your right and walk towards the river. Cross the bridge (Pont Wilson) and continue straight onto Rue Nationale. After a few minutes, you will find Place Jean Jaurès on your left.
Public Transport - Tram
From the Tours train station (Gare de Tours), walk to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take Tram Line A in the direction of 'Tours - Pôle Santé' and travel for 4 stops. Get off at the 'Jean Jaurès' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will be at Place Jean Jaurès.
Walking
If you are at the Cathedral of Saint Gatien, exit the cathedral and head southwest on Rue de la Préfecture. Continue straight until you reach Rue Nationale. Turn left on Rue Nationale and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will find Place Jean Jaurès on your right.
Public Transport - Bus
From the city center, find the nearest bus stop and take line 5 or line 1 towards 'Tours - Pôle Santé'. Get off at the 'Jean Jaurès' stop. The square will be right in front of you when you exit the bus.
