Walking
If you are in the center of Versailles, head towards the main street, Avenue de Paris. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach the RER C train station (Gare de Versailles Rive Gauche). From there, take the RER C train towards Paris and get off at the station 'Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel.' Once you exit the station, head towards the Seine River. Walk across the Pont de l'Alma bridge, and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paix. Turn left onto Rue de la Paix, and continue until you reach Place de l'Opéra. Your destination, 7 Pl. de l'Opéra, will be on your right.
Public Transport - Train
From the center of Versailles, make your way to the RER C train station (Gare de Versailles Rive Gauche). Purchase a ticket to Paris. Board the next RER C train heading towards Paris. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Gare d'Austerlitz' station. From there, transfer to Metro Line 5 in the direction of Bobigny - Pablo Picasso. Get off at 'Bastille' and transfer to Metro Line 1 towards La Défense. Get off at 'Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre' and walk towards the Rue de la Paix. Continue walking until you reach Place de l'Opéra, where you will find 7 Pl. de l'Opéra.
Public Transport - Bus
From the center of Versailles, locate the nearest bus stop (for example, at Place du Marché). Take the bus line 171 (direction La Verrière). After about 20 minutes, get off at 'Gare de Saint-Cyr.' Here, transfer to the train line heading to Paris Montparnasse. Once you arrive at Paris Montparnasse, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 6 towards Charles de Gaulle - Étoile. Change at 'Charles de Gaulle - Étoile' to Line 1 towards Château de Vincennes. Get off at 'Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre' and walk towards Rue de la Paix, then to Place de l'Opéra where your destination is located.
