Walking
From the center of Versailles, head east on Rue de la Paroisse towards Rue de Satory. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de Paris. Turn left onto Avenue de Paris and walk towards the train station, Gare de Versailles Chantiers. Once you reach the station, take the train towards Paris Montparnasse. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at Paris Montparnasse station. From there, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 6 towards Nation. After 5 stops, get off at Montparnasse-Bienvenüe. Exit the station and walk towards Rue de Vaugirard. The Mètre étalon is located at 36 Rue de Vaugirard, just a short 5-minute walk from the metro exit.
Train
From the Versailles Rive Droite station, take the train towards Paris. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Paris Saint-Lazare station. From there, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 towards Gallieni. Change at République station to Line 11 towards Mairie des Lilas. Get off at the next stop, Châtelet. From Châtelet, switch to Metro Line 4 towards Porte de Clignancourt. Get off at the next stop, Saint-Michel. At Saint-Michel, transfer to RER B towards Robinson. Alight at the next station, Luxembourg. Exit the station and walk towards Rue de Vaugirard. The Mètre étalon will be just around the corner at 36 Rue de Vaugirard.
Bus
From the center of Versailles, locate the bus stop for Line 171 at the Versailles Rive Droite station. Board the bus and travel towards the Porte de Saint-Cloud. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Duroc'. From the bus stop, walk towards Rue de Vaugirard, which is just a short distance away. The Mètre étalon is located at 36 Rue de Vaugirard, a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.
